Please book if you are currently having symptoms of urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic/tail bone pain, and/or if you been referred directly for a pelvic assessment due to an ongoing chronic condition such as low back or hip pain.

Physiotherapy services with secure encrypted video and audio. Please note no observation of pelvic floor or region will be completed - this is reserved for in-clinic visits only.


Workshops

Gina is a mother of two and a physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health. She enjoys working with people during their pregnancies to prepare for labour and delivery, and also postpartum to help with recovery and safe return to activity. Gina is experienced in treating orthopaedic concerns including low back and pelvic girdle pain (sacroiliac joint, pubic bone and tailbone pain), abdominal separation, and pelvic health issues such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic floor pain.

Gina graduated from Pacific University in Oregon, USA with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2003. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary (1999). She is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) and is certified in both Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and Anatomical Acupuncture.

Gina has taken many post-graduate courses in orthopaedics and pelvic health. She has also completed her Yoga Therapist and Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga teacher training certifications and enjoys integrating yoga into her practice and workshops.

Outside the clinic, Gina enjoys spending time with her family, and being active outdoors: running, biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing.

Ashley graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2011. She has always enjoyed working in a busy outpatient setting and has since trained in postgraduate manual therapy and Functional Dry Needling (IMS) techniques. Ashley found her passion for care when she trained as a pelvic health physiotherapist. As a mother of two, she understands the importance of support through the pregnancy, labor and postpartum journey. Ashley specializes in treating pelvic health issues like pelvic floor pain, incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. She also has been certified with Rost Therapy to treat pelvic girdle pain, including sacroiliac joint, symphysis pubis joint and tailbone pain. Ashley enjoys working with her clients to maintain a symptom free pregnancy and an educated and empowered labor and delivery. She is experienced in assessing and treating for abdominal separation and providing exercises for a safe return to function and fitness after delivery.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has 2 young children, so when time allows for it she can be found biking, running, swimming, travelling and walking with her French bulldog.

A University of Alberta graduate, Corina obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1995. Corina has spent her physiotherapy career continuously expanding her knowledge and skills which includes certification in Traditional Chinese Medical acupuncture (2003) and a Doula certification (2005). Corina also has extensive postgraduate training in orthopaedics and pelvic health specifically in the treatment of the pelvic floor including treatment for pregnancy related dysfunctions, post-obstetrical trauma, urinary incontinence and pelvic pain. Corina maintains a very busy practice offering much needed help to women with pelvic floor dysfunctions as she incorporates both orthopaedic skills and acupuncture in her active approach to treating the pelvic health and perinatal population. Corina brings her dedication to excellence in part from her experience as a nationally ranked athlete as well as her desire for incorporating an extensive holistic approach within her treating philosophy. Outside of the clinic, Corina is a busy mom of 4 and she enjoys spending time being active with her kids and when time allows running and hiking.

Lisa graduated in 2010 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. After graduating, Lisa started working in a busy outpatient orthopaedic clinic, which allowed her to focus on her orthopaedic skills and become certified in anatomical acupuncture and Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS). She developed a keen interest in pelvic physiotherapy after taking formal post graduate training in this area in 2013. Since then, she has pursued further training including certification in Rost Therapy to assist with assessing and treating pregnancy-related pelvic girdle, sacro-iliac and pubic pain.

As a Mother of two, Lisa has had personal experience with the importance that pelvic physiotherapy can provide. For this reason, she is extremely passionate about her practice. In her spare time, she enjoys seeing friends and family as often as she can, golfing with her husband and chasing her little ones and dog around on different adventures.
